Mali Thai Restaurant is located on Darby Street, they are serving up authentic Thai Street food. You will find all of the popular Thai dishes here and some you dont normally find here, such as Hoy Tod - crispy mussel omelette. A favorite street food back in Thailand, but rare in New Zealand. Mali Thai in the city centre serves the best, prepared with plump mussels and bean sprouts, fried after being coated with savoury egg batter and served with a side of special chilli sauce. Another different dish to try is the Khao Soi - originating from Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, even in Thailand people will travel North just to get the real noodles!
