Dickens Inn is conveniently located in the heart of the city of Whangarei, New Zealand. Whangarei is a pleasant two hour drive north of New Zealand's largest city, Auckland. The Dickens Inn is a premier dining and entertainment centre open every day until late for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. Children are also catered for.
The Dickens offers a great selection of food with a scrummy breakfast menu and all day snack and light meal menu which includes everything from breads and dips, to huge gourmet open and club sandwiches, pizzas, fish and steak dishes.
In the evening a full a la carte menu is also offered with a wide selection of dishes from fresh local produce. Dishes include lamb, venison, steaks, pasta, salads and fresh seafood including an awesome seafood platter.
There are two alfresco drinking and dining areas, ideal for those balmy summer evenings, a café and an old world style bar with a large selection of New Zealand and imported beers, wines and spirits. Upstairs there are function rooms with an intimate cocktail bar and balcony lounge.
