Located on the corner of Shortland and O’Connell Streets in central Auckland, O’Connell St Bistro is an intimate dining room of twelve tables, created in the theme of a contemporary European back street bistro, with a cosy and well-stocked bar.

Function Room

The Bistro has a private room, the Corner Room, adjacent to the Bistro, accommodating up to 20 people on one table and 26 people on two tables. We can also accommodate groups of up to 42 people in the main restaurant, for that special occasion.

"After recovering from a kitchen fire that forced it to close last year, O’Connell Street is back in business and back in the Top 50 with a newer, softer space and an experienced team to run it. Three abstract, mixed-media artworks by Bill Snider inform the room’s new colour scheme, which is carried through to the details — the copper finish of table lamps, the binding of menus, the blue silk of waiters’ waistcoats.
