Book in October & your meal could be on us!

 

Competition description:

4 lucky people who make their restaurant booking though Restaurant Hub in the month of October will have Restaurant Hub pick up the tab*.

The prize consists of:

Four prizes of *up to $300 will be awarded to diners who have made bookings using www.restauranthub.co.nz in October.

The $300 will go to the restaurant to be used exclusively towards the cost of the winner's booked meal, food and beverages included.

Bookings must be created in October to be eligible, but can be for dates outside of October. 

 

How to enter: 

Any bookings made in October will automatically be entered into the draw. To make your booking you will be required to provide:

                    - Your name (First and Last)

                    - Email Address

                    - Phone number

                    - Name of Restaurant

                    - Date of Booking

                    - Time of Booking

The Promoter will collect and use, for the purpose of the promotion, the Participants’ personal information. Participants have the right to request access to and correction of such personal information (where such information is readily retrievable) by contacting the Promoter. Please see the Promoter’s privacy policy for further information

Participants grant Restaurant Hub permission to use their name, and contact information, in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. This includes the right to use on the Promoter’s websites, social media, in newsletters and emails and on other publications of the Promoter.

 

Who can Enter:

Entry is only open to New Zealand residents, except employees (and such employees' immediate families) of Restaurant Hub Ltd and agencies associated with the competition.

 

Entry Periods and Prize Draw Dates:

The competition opens at 1am on the 1st of October 2017 and closes at 12.59pm on the 26th of October 2017 (the “Promotion Period’).

4 prizes will be awarded throughout the month, with the entry for each draw opening and closing as follows:

The 1st prize will be drawn on Friday the 6th of October for bookings made in between: 1:00am Oct 1st to 12:59pm Oct 5th

The 2nd prize will be drawn on Friday the 13th of October for bookings made in between: 1:00am Oct 6th to 12:59pm Oct 12th

The 3rd prize will be drawn on Friday the 20th of October for bookings made in between: 1:00am Oct 13th to 12:59pm Oct 19th

The 4th prize will be drawn on Friday the 27th of October for bookings made in between: 1:00am Oct 20th to 12:59pm Oct 26th

If the winning booking has already passed when the booking is drawn - then the winner will be able to make a new booking for which to use their prize. This booking must be made through Restaurant Hub, for the original restaurant and Restaurant Hub will need to be informed via email to [email protected] 

 

How the winner will be contacted:

The winner will be called - on the Friday that the prize is drawn to confirm that the winner accepts the prize and the terms and conditions, using the number provided as part of the booking.

If the winner accepts the prize - The prize win and Terms and Conditions acceptance will be documented in an email to the winner.

If the winner cannot be contacted before 12pm on the Monday following the Friday Draw after three failed phone attempts by Restaurant Hub, Restaurant Hub reserve the right to retract the prize and redraw the competition.  Restaurant Hub’s decisions relating to the winner and eligibility are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If the winner declines the prize, the prize is forfeit and Restaurant Hub will confirm with the entrant in an email. Restaurant Hub reserves the right to redraw the winner. 

 

Changing the booking:

Changing the booking  -

The winner can make changes to the booking size, time or date by calling the restaurant to update their original booking. The prize value does not change. The date can be no more than 6 months after the prize was drawn.   

The winner cannot change the restaurant unless the restaurant closes permanently before their booking is due. 

If the value of the Prize is not redeemed before February 28th, the prize is not redeemable for cash and will be forfeit.

Cannot make booking - If the winner cannot attend the booking, they must give the restaurant at least 24 hours notice (prior to the booked time) and rebook the booking to retain the prize. Cancellation and rebooking by the winner must be confirmed by the restaurant or the prize is forfeit.

Forfeiting the prize - If the winner doesn’t show up and hasn’t re-booked at least 24 hours prior to their booking at the restaurant (no show), then the prize is forfeit and the Restaurant will receive the value. 

Transferring the Prize - The winner can transfer the prize to friends or family without contacting the restaurant in advance, but the diners must be seated using the name of the person under which the booking was made and be able to show written evidence from the person under which the booking was made to validate the transfer of the prize. 

 

Promoting the Winner:

Once the winner has accepted the Prize and Terms, the winner’s First and Last Name and the Restaurant name they booked will be promoted on Restaurant Hub’s Facebook, Instagram and Email Newsletters.

 

How the restaurant will award the winner. 

The restaurant will be paid in advance for the total award value so that the winner can walk out without paying a cent if their booking is less than $300.

If the total meal + drinks cost is less than $300, the winner does not receive change. The prize is counted as fully redeemed. 

If the total meal + drinks cost is greater than $300, the remainder will need to be paid for by the winner's dining party. The restaurant's normal payment rules apply. ie. The remainder can be split across the party if the restaurant normally accepts split bills, or the remainder will need to be covered by one person if the restaurant only accepts one bill per table. 

 

Other

Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Prize is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Terms and conditions of the restaurant where the booking is made may apply. Winners should check with the restaurant in advance. 

 

Changes to the competition:

The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms, and to modify, terminate or reschedule the Competition, and to substitute any of the prizes for a similar prize of the same value.

These terms and conditions may be amended and the Promotion terminated at any time by Restaurant Hub.

 

Who is offering the promotion:

The Promoter is Restaurant Hub Ltd, whose registered office is located at Restaurant Hub, Level 2, NZME Central, 2 Graham St, CBD, Auckland 

 

Liability:

The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
